We’re Refined Internet a Distributed Micro Agency and we specialise in Magento, WordPress and other Creative Web Solutions across Manchester, the UK and beyond.
Meet the Team

This is Michael, he’s our front man for Refined Internet and as much of the team as you’re likely to meet, he’ll be your contact on a day to day basis. You may occasionally hear from one of our development teams when necessary, but more often than not Michael will shield you from the technical talk and translate into normal people speak. Like what you see? We hope so, because unlike most agencies he’s the only person you’ll have to deal with – no jumping through hoops here.
NB: Michael often sports a variety of ‘wonderful’ hair styles – luckily it in no way hinders his superheroesque powers of project management and website development, in fact we suspect it’s the source of his power. Which is nice.
You’re a Distributed Micro Thingy-ma-bob?
Yep!
We’re distributed in that whilst we have a fixed office address our design and development teams are based across the UK – and in some instances across the globe. This gives us access to a huge pool of talent so we’re able to select the best people for each and every project. That means unlike traditional agencies we’re not restricted by the 5 developers huddled in the dark corner of the office for each and every project – regardless of their ability to actually complete the task.
We’re micro because we keep our client intake small, we do this so that each and every client gets our full, undivided attention – not just when at the start of a project, but for the lifetime of that project as we grow and develop each clients online presence. We have a saying here; if we do our job properly then there’s no reason we shouldn’t still be working with the same clients in 10 years time because we have the skills and the time to look after each individual client properly.
We’re a thingy-ma-bob (agency) because, well, we are. We’re just like a traditional digital agency, apart from we’ve embraced the digital side of things by becoming digital ourselves. No need for flashy salesmen, with flashier cars and overpriced city centre offices. It’s still the same agency service your used to, but digital – and let’s face it, doesn’t that make perfect sense for a digital agency?
